Customer Success Story: First Time Homebuyer in Florida

Helping this sweet family find their perfect home was such an awesome experience! Buying a home is not always as glamorous as HGTV makes it out to be. Some times there are hurdles and various obstacles to overcome. My buyer diligently worked for over a year on saving money, establishing realistic goals, and preparing herself to make an offer when the right home became available. That is just what we did!

As soon as she seen this home hit the market, we scheduled a showing and prepared her offer. After a little negotiation, it wasn’t long before we were under contract. Although inspections were clear, the roof came into factor due to the age. This is something that we see frequently in the Tallahassee, Florida area. Insurance companies are skeptical when it comes to older roofs and often require the sellers to replace the roof before closing. Even if there is not an active leak and the roof appears to be in great condition, solely because of the age they can request that roof be totally replaced.

Thankfully we were able to find a roofing company that would be able to squeeze in our job just in time for closing. This sweet buyer is now loving her new home and working on making it her own. I couldn’t be happier for her and am thankful she allowed us to help her with her real estate journey!
