Success Story - Relocating to North Florida

Can you imagine relocating several states away with a family of six and your dog? I can only imagine the stress and fear of the unknown. I recently had the pleasure of helping a sweet family move to North Florida from Michigan. Although relocating can be very fun, and they were so excited about their new home in Florida, there are also stressful obstacles to tackle along the way. 

Our family once relocated, although it was only a few hours away, I remember trying to navigate selling our current home while looking for a new home in our new city. While we were so excited about the journey ahead, it was so stressful trying to learn a new area and how to navigate this new journey for our family. We were lucky to find an amazing realtor in the new city and they helped us tremendously throughout the process. Little did I know that experience for our family would empower me with the skills and compassion needed to help a future client of mine relocate their family. Being able to put myself into their position and the stress they must be under, made it an easy task for me to thoroughly vet their home search for them.

My sweet buyers came to me asking for assistance finding the perfect place for them in north Florida. Not being from the area, or knowing anyone, they did not know anything about the area where they were looking to move. I was able to locate several homes for them, take pictures, and even video tour properties on their behalf. 

I was able to describe the condition of the homes and provide them thorough videos to give them an accurate depiction of the neighborhood as well as surrounding areas. By doing this, they were able to make a decision about the property and neighborhood. Providing videos for my clients gave them the ability to see the property as accurately as possible without being able to view it in person. It was exciting to hear about the joy from the family as they viewed their virtual tours and pictures, and as I received feedback from each property I was able to quickly learn their likes and dislikes. 

After just a few short weeks, I was able to narrow down exactly what they were looking for in a home as well as neighborhood. I even was able to show this family property in several different cities and counties throughout North Florida, for the lifestyle they were looking to have in Florida. This family was able to make informed offers on several properties and after just a few short weeks landed the perfect place for them just outside of Tallahassee, Florida.

If you are planning to relocate to North Florida, or anywhere for that matter, I highly recommend finding a real estate agent that understands the relocation process. Understanding the timeline of you selling your home, the travel to your new location and the purchase of  your new home is very important. It is equally important to have an agent that can thoroughly capture properties through pictures and videos that will depict the property well enough for you to make an informed decision.
