Final Closings of 2023

Wow, is all I can say! The year ended with a huge bang and I will forever be grateful! At the beginning of 2023, I set rather large real estate goals for the year and I’m happy to say that the year ended meeting those goals!

We were excited and happy to help two more clients with their purchases of their county lots. One of the lots was for a client that plans to eventually build their future home. The other county lot was an investment opportunity for a client. Did you real estate is one of the most secure places to invest? Buy dirt!

Speaking of dirt, we also helped a client with the sale of her vacant land in Monticello, Florida. This property was special to her and she wanted to make sure we found the perfect buyer that would love it as much as she did, and that is just what we did! The new buyer has already started preparing the land for his future homesite and I cannot wait to see him settling down in Jefferson County!

There were three super special sales as I wrapped up 2023. That first being the closing of our precious Sunset property. I prayed for the perfect buyers and was excited when they toured the property. Their closing was a little bumpy, as they can often be, but we pushed through and thankfully with an amazing team we were able to close them just in time for them to settle into their home for the holidays. We are so glad to see Sunset being loved again by this sweet family and wish them many years of memories! Be on the lookout for the Sunset Story here on the blog soon!

We purchased our next project home at the end of 2023, and this time it is for us to live in! As with any home purchased, there is always work to be done but we were excited to see a dramatic transformation before we moved in. I hope to get some before and after pictures posted here soon!

We ended the year with the closing of my family home. That closing was bittersweet to say the least. I believe in chapters and that sometimes they close at times you least expect it. When those chapters close, I believe there are even better ones opening. It is not always easy to keep an open mind but I think that is important. As this sale was very personal and difficult, I know that it has brought us so much joy and will continue to bring blessings to my family that I am looking forward to.

All of these closings, and those at the beginning of the year, are blessings and we are so thankful for the clients that have allowed us to meet these goals. Each client is special to us and so are the relationships that we have made along the way. 2024 is going to be even better, and we have bigger goals that I know we will meet. What I am most excited about is the people we will meet this year, the relationships we will create, and seeing what the world of real estate brings us!
