Best Christmas Lights in Tallahassee,Florida

Our family has many Christmas traditions, but one I look forward to each year is looking at Christmas light displays around the Tallahassee, Florida area! From the time that I can remember, looking at Christmas lights was always one of the traditions I looked forward to most during the Christmas season. When we had the kiddos, I could not wait to share the joy of Christmas lights with them also. From the very first Christmas, we would load them up in their car seats, play Christmas music, and drive around town looking for the best Christmas light display Tallahassee had to offer!

Over the years, we have definitely come to love certain locations throughout North Florida and South Georgia, and look forward to seeing their updated displays each year. Below I have included some of our favorite spots for you and your family to enjoy as well!

One of our favorites has always been Dorothy B. Oven park located at 3205 Thomasville Road in Tallahassee. I love that it is a drive-through or walking display, depending on what your heart desires! If you have a little one, you have to take them to Elf Night! This year elf night will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The display and Elf Night are both free admission, can’t beat that!

We also enjoy a quick drive to Havana, Florida to look at the Allison family Christmas light display. This family has been featured on the TV show The Great Christmas Light Fight twice now! Each year their display, gets bigger and better, and it’s never a disappointment! You can find them at 240 Shady Creek Road in Havana, Florida.

The last light display I would like to share, is the Flowers Food in Thomasville Georgia. Every year we drive past this display, and have never had the opportunity to actually drive through it, but this year it is on our must do list! From the road, it looks absolutely amazing, and I have heard nothing but great things about the display! You can find the Flowers display at 1919 Flowers Circle, Thomasville, Georgia.

Recently, I also found this super fun scavenger hunt to play with your family while you look at Christmas lights (shared by 30andMade blog). I am excited to play with my family this year and see who can win. We are a pretty competitive family, I will probably make it a game, and even possibly have a fun prize!

Do you have any favorite Christmas light displays around Tallahassee, Florida, North Florida or South Georgia? I would love to hear what is the best display this year!
