2022 Recap - A Great Year!
As I look back on the year, I am thankful for so much! If you would have asked me this time last year, “what will you be doing at the end of 2022?” I most definitely would not guess that I would be my own boss, running my own business, as a Realtor, and with a successful first year. But oh, how grateful I am!
I have always been a firm believer in things happening for a reason. I know that no matter what curveballs are thrown at me I will do my best and, ultimately, either succeed or learn from my mistakes! Honestly, I consider mistakes success as well because you have to fail in order to learn, right?
During my first year of real estate, I would say that I definitely learned a lot. I have made a lot of new friends, learned new skills, and established more time for my family. All of which I will forever be grateful for!
Going into my first year of real estate, I set my goals pretty low. I think that might have been so I could accomplish them and feel like it was successful. But also because I didn’t want to push myself too hard. I have a bad habit of setting expectations for myself far too high, and then working extremely hard to try to meet unreasonable expectations. I have a hard time saying no, I have a hard time stopping work, and I have a hard time relaxing. Knowing all of this, I wanted to make sure I took my time, learned my new career thoroughly, and set reasonable expectations for myself. To my surprise, I surpassed all of my goals for my new business in 2022!
This would not have been possible without all of the wonderful people in my life. My husband, my children, all of my family, my friends, my new friends, my work family, and most importantly, my clients! To each of you, I would like to extend my gratitude and tell you, from the bottom of my heart, I love each and everyone of you and I’m so thankful for how you contributed to my success in 2022!
Now, let’s make 2023 even better!! Happy New Year!
